My Prediction
Winnipeg Blue Bombers by 4Ah, so we're looking at a showdown of epic proportions, aren't we? The Winnipeg Blue Bombers in BC's den, the land of Lions! Now, here's a question for all you sports buffs out there: What's blue, and yet, makes Lions see red? If your answer was the Blue Bombers, you're on fire!
Let me take you down the memory lane. Now, in the last five encounters, it's the Bombers who've been flying high more often than not. But, as faith would have it, the Lions did nibble at the Bombers' dynamite just once, managing to squeak out a narrow win. Now that's a roaring comeback, right?
Entering the new season on a positive note, the Bombers are unbeaten, while the Lions have started continuing their frustrating tradition of cat-and-mouse, with a 1-1 record. This sees the Bombers sitting pretty at #3 in the West Division, while the Lions are just a step behind at #4.
But the game of football, just like a lion's roar, echoes in the recent past. The Bombers seem to have a taste for victory, not dropping a single game out of their last three, while the Lions have been, well, licking their wounds off an awkward loss to the Bombers earlier this month.
So while some may say a Bomber can't roar louder than a Lion, and a Lion can't fly higher than a Bomber, it's anybody’s game really!
However, if I were to cast my runes today, the celestial alignment does seem to spell a bit of doomsday for the Lions. So, let me put on my wise hat and serve you prediction on a platter:
