Winnipeg Blue Bombers by 10
Talk about a Grey Cup for the ages! The Toronto Argonauts are heading to Winnipeg Country for a showdown with the Blue Bombers. Now, with me being me, there's no way to dance around the fact that the Bombers are the top dogs here. They've had an impressive 11-7 season, sitting pretty in the number one spot of the West Division.
On the flip side, the Argonauts have put up a decent fight in the East with a 10-8 record. Yes, they’re not the savviest out there, but heck, they've shown some resilience, to say the least. October 12th notwithstanding, when the Argonauts sank the Bombers' ship with a 14 to 11 victory, the Bombers made a comeback on November 9th, shamelessly given Roughriders a lesson 38 to 22.
You've gotta also nod at the Argonauts' last game. A victory over the Alouettes isn't to be taken lightly. However, there have been some hiccups. Honestly, when you lose to the Edmonton Elks, I start questioning your dedication to the sport, Argonauts.
And let me throw in history's face at you. The Argonauts have managed to outpace the Bombers in two of their last three games. But, you can't ignore the undeniable prowess that the Bombers have demonstrated throughout the season.
Considering it all, I predict a swing towards Winnipeg's favor. The Argonauts might have won battles earlier on, but I think the Bombers will win this war with a comfortable lead.
