Hamilton Tiger-Cats by 6Often the case when you invite the Ottawa Redblacks down to the Tiger-Cats for some afternoon tea and football, it's no-holds-barred. Cups of tea slosh about, crumpets fly, and the good china is at risk.
Now, those Tiger-Cats have romped about with a 2-2 record this year compared to the Redblacks' not-so-red-hot 1-4. These aren't numbers to write home about, but we've got to play the cards we're dealt.
The last five meetups these teams have had, they've been trading wins like pensioners trading candy on Halloween. And no one can say Ottawa's had an easy ride so far, facing fierce competition from from Edmonton, Calgary, and even Saskatchewan on a bad day. Despite this, they manage to make a little noise, showing us glimpses of their potential.
On the other hand, our striped felines here are not kittens playing with yarn and they have their own weapons that they're not afraid to wield. Notably, those recent victories over the Argonauts and Alouettes. But as we all know, the past is the past, and all these facts and figures won't mean a bag of pucks once they're both on the field.
If the stars align and mama's homemade pie tastes just right, Hamilton's home advantage could be the secret ingredient. However, don't get too comfortable lounging around in your recliner, we are here for some Canadian football, not a high-tea party!
