Xinjiang Flying Tigers by 8Oh, heavens to Betsy! What we've got here, ladies and gents, is a matchup that could only be rivaled by a glitz and glamor Hollywood premiere— it's the Beijing Royal Fighters going head-to-head with the Xinjiang Flying Tigers.
Now, even Stevie Wonder could see that the big cats from Xinjiang have a lot going for them. They're sitting pretty at number 5 in the standings, and they've got more hitters in their lineup than a 90's boy band. Players like Dedrick Lawson, QJ Peterson, and Abudushalamu Abudurexiti, have all been producing winning numbers last month.
On the Beijing side of things, it's a muddier picture. We've got no recent information on their top players — bless their souls. However, while their position at number 11 in the standings is about as inviting as a hot sauna in the African Savannah, their regular season record paints a slightly more hopeful image.
In terms of the past matchups between these two teams, well, it's more one-sided than a conversation with my ex-wife— Xinjiang has proven to be the dominant force more often than not.
