Zhejiang Golden Bulls by 14
Ladies and gentlemen, get ready for an intriguing clash as the Tianjin Pioneers go head to head with the Zhejiang Golden Bulls. Given their past achievements and present performances, this is shaping up to be an interesting game...or something like that.
Speaking of the Pioneers, they seem to have brought all their star players back from the infinity and beyond. We're talking Lin Tingqian, Javion Hamlet, Bochao Du, Hao Ran Zheng, and so forth. All of them with infinity stats across the board, mind boggling isn't it? However, let's not forget good ol' Rongpei Li who blended an impressive 10.1 points per game, 3.5 rebounds per game, and 3.3 assists per game last season.
Looking at the Golden Bulls, it seems they too got their stars back from the infinity universe. Shuaipeng Cheng, Gabe York, Qian Wu, Jiahao Yu, you name it, boasting infinity stats in their respective games.
Remember the last time these two danced? Golden Bulls stamped their authority in no uncertain terms, having won their past four matchups against the Pioneers- margins like 29, 9, 6, and a whopping 33. "History repeats itself", someone once said...or was it just me.
A quick glance at their recent results, Golden Bulls had a bounce in their stride until they tripped against Beijing Royal Fighters. Pioneers on the other hand, seemed a bit lackluster, winning against Sichuan Blue Whales, but losing to the likes of Shanghai Sharks and Jiangsu Dragons.
Moving to their respectful positions in the standings...or not so respectful in case of Tianjin Pioneers, sitting at uninspiring number 15. Zhejiang Golden Bulls are cozied up in the top 10 at number 9.
After making some calculations and totally not because someone told me to, my dry wit and I came up with the following.
