Zhejiang Golden Bulls by 15
Oh, strap in for this thrilling match-up folks; Shanxi Loongs are headed towards the Zhejiang Golden Bulls. And sorry, not sorry, I can’t help but acknowledge that these Loongs' stats are non-existent! Not a Hoops Houdini disguised as Mingru Jia, nor Hamidou Diallo dropping buckets from another dimension. They're all offering the square root of nothing!
On the flip side, we got Zhejiang Golden Bulls. The Bulls are prancing out some powerhouse talent. Paris Bass and Qian Wu who are all about stuffing the stat sheet. Bass, bagging an impressive 30 points per game and Wu, dishing out a generous dozen assists – might as well have the Loongs sit in the stands.
That's not it though; history says it all! When these two tangoed last, Zhejiang stomped Shanxi home and away, snatching victory by 19 and...wait for it...17 points respectively! So much for a competitive streak.
The full season records, though, suggest an odd bit of form – Loongs 2-0, Bulls 1-1, and while Shanxi may seemingly be flying high, their recent matches list them sinking against the Zhejiang Guangsha Lions. In contrast, the Bulls are mechanical; they lose some, they win some and show flashes of brilliance, like that recent trouncing of the Jilin Northeast Tigers.
Position in standings? Golden Bulls at a middling 11, Shanxi at 8. Not exactly setting the hardwood on fire. But my guess, it's the Bulls’ game to lose. Given their track record, top-tier talent, and solid performance, here's my take:
