Liaoning Flying Leopards by 16
Ah, buckle up, sports fans! We have a delight of a Chinese Basketball game on our hands. Liaoning Flying Leopards are up against the Guangzhou Loong Lions, and boy does the ledger tell a story.
Starting off with the Leopards, their artillery includes Jo Lual Acuil Jr who has been in a class of his own with 17 points on average per game this season so far. Tipping his hat from the previous season is Marial Shayok who clocked an impressive 19.1 points per game and Kyle Fogg with 19.4 points per game. This trio has been more destructive than overcooked popcorn in your microwave!
As for the Loong Lions, we don't have any recent performances to ponder on, which is just as exciting as watching paint dry. Their rather silent roster includes Shao Weiyun and Jiajun Tong who, as it appears, are way more interested in a good game of ping pong than basketball with stats rolling in at absolute zip last month. Zhang and Crawford, unfortunately, aren’t providing much home for a rebound, either.
Considering the past matchups, well, let's just say the Flying Leopards have soared above the Loong Lions quite comfortably. The Leopards snatched victory with a solid margin in 2024 and similarly outclassed the Lions in their previous showdown too.
Talking about recent form, Flying Leopards have been flying high with two straight wins in this season, whereas the Loong Lions are still searching for their first victory. The less said about their position in the standings, the better!
Taking everything into consideration, unless the Loong Lions discover a hidden stash of Michael Jordan's Secret Stuff from the Space Jam movie, Flying Leopards are likely going to best them once again.
