Xinjiang Flying Tigers by 10
Ah, ladies and gentlemen, we're diving into a punchy matchup tonight between the Beijing Royal Fighters and the Xinjiang Flying Tigers. Now, you might be thinking, 'Where's the beef, right?' Well, hold onto your hats, because we're getting jalapeno fresh up in here.
The Royal Fighters have yet to graciously share their stats for this season. So instead of commenting on invisible assists and phantom points, let's just acknowledge the Elephant in the room - Beijing's story this season is like one of those mystery novels with half the pages torn out.
Over at Xinjiang, however, we've got the Flying Tigers tearing up the court like it's made out of gazelles. Dedrick Lawson is bringing a solid 31 point average per game for the past month. Truly Lawson is ever so 'dedricated'; like a glue factory running at full tilt. Got to give some shoutouts to QJ Peterson as well; players like him are probably the reason the phrase 'ball hog' was invented.
Peekinto past conflicts, it’s akin to looped replays of mob fights from a 1980s action flicks, with Xinjiang regularly outshouting Beijing. Just a year ago, Xinjiang bested Beijing 112-105 and again more recently with a cool 102-95 win. Talk about a recurring nightmare for the Royal Fighters.
Even though both teams strutted their peacock feathers in the regular season with a pair of wins each, let's just say Xinjiang were the brighter plumage. Just look at their recent results. Those Tigers have been clawing out some wins like it’s a Black Friday sale.
To top it all, Xinjiang is sitting pretty at #4 in the CBA compared to Beijing’s #5. If I were a betting man, I’d probably put a kidney on who’s taking this game home. But on account of medical advice, I’ll refrain.
Albert’s Prediction: Xinjiang Flying Tigers by 10.
