He's been on a roller-coaster ride, showing mixed recent results with handful wins but also tasting the bitterness of defeat against Shapovalov D. and Zverev A., who are no small names. Paul's past glory against Mr. Diallo also casts a shadow on this match as he won a faceoff against him in a 3 sets to 1 debacle back in August 2024.
