My Prediction
Danilovic in 3 sets
Alright sports fans, you may want to snag that hot cup of joe and settle in for a fascinating faceoff in the Open Capfinances Rouen Métropole Semi-final. We’ve got the sprightly Olga Danilovic going racket to racket with Suzan Lamens. Now hold on to your sun visors. I know the knee jerk reaction is to think seeding might be worthless than your old tennis shoes, especially since Lamens is out here playing like she's sponsored by acing the seeded players, however, before you throw your cash on her bandwagon, let me enlighten you.

Danilovic is not a three seed for nothing. She's got the chops and she's proven it. Sure, she may have been playing chicken little and losing a set before she cinches the victory, but she's been up against contenders that'll make you sweat just reading their names and she's still here. Lamens, however, has been leaving her matches with love in the air more often than Danilovic. That's promising, don't get me wrong, but let's be reminded that Lamens, Ms. Unseeded here, has not had the same level of competition. Knocking out Rakotomanga Rajaonah T. and Nosková L. in straight sets had me believing for a minute that the post match protein shake may as well be champagne.

But let's not sleep on Danilovic’s regular game either. I've seen giraffes move with less grace and they don't have to worry about backhands or drop shots. Lamens should have a chapter dedicated to her rocket-like serves, you'd think she'd been getting trajectory tips from NASA. It's going to be about as predictable as a cat on a hot tin roof. But in the end, I'm putting the edge on the gal who's been dancing with the stars.

Albert’s Prediction: Danilovic in 3 sets
