France by 2Hold your horses, sports fans! We've got a rouser of a Women's Euro game coming up between France and Wales. The French team's swooping in with a shining tournament record of 1-0-0, having wiped the floor recently with England in a tight 2-1 match. We can see that France's not afraid to get their hands dirty and play ball. Now let's look at the Welsh side, their journey's been a rough and tumble with a recent 3-0 bruise against the Netherlands.
The goalkeeping round looks like a cat fight. For the French side, we have Pauline Peyraud Magnin. Sadly, it seems like she has been sunbathing the entire tournament with a rating of a measly 6.10 and 0 saves. I mean, would it hurt to take your eye off the Eiffel Tower for a sec, Magnin? On the Welsh side, Olivia Clark shows some fight with a gritty 7.00 rating and 4 saves. You could say, she's acting as Wales' defence bodyguard, but one can only do so much, right?
Now providing a spark to the French team, we have Delphine Cascarino and the striking Marie-Antoinette Katoto who apparently doesn’t miss much with her impressive shottaken-to-goal ratio. Besides, who needs Netflix when you've got someone named Marie-Antoinette offering drama?
Wales, on the other hand, brings forward Rhiannon Roberts and Jessica Fishlock, providing the backbone for the Welsh team. But gentlemen and ladies, where are the goals? Perhaps the Welsh team has been focusing too much on their tea time rather than their training.
Taking all this information into account, it might seem like France is taking a leisurely stroll into a win against Wales.
