England by 1Well now, aren't we in for a delightful match! Would you look at this; the good ole tea-loving England against brie-and-baguette France. Truly a European football classic, oh how the tables are set.
If we take a stroll down memory lane, England boasts a clean sheet against Jamaica recently, stopping them cold at 7 to zip. And let's not forget the admirable win over Switzerland, albeit just a one-goal difference. They also held the United States - the country that calls football 'soccer' - to a goalless draw and narrowly won over South Africa. Only a single loss against Germany mars their recent track record.
Meanwhile, France is surfing on their triumphs over Brazil and Belgium. Now who wouldn't strut about after defeating Brazil with a one-goal advantage? However, France did lose to Spain in an impressive bout. They managed to eke out a victory against Nigeria, but fell short against Switzerland.
