The Los Angeles Sparks, currently sitting at the cozy 11th place in the WNBA - nothing screams gutsy like a team pushing to get out of the bottom three. It's high time their top players Kelsey Plum and Dearica Hamby, who have been putting up sensational digits this season with 20.4 and 16.4 points per game respectively, channelize their stats into wins.
Throwing the ball over to the fever pitch, we have the Indiana Fever. Not exactly setting the court alight with their middle-of-the-road 7th position, but far from being lost in smoke. If scoring was an art, Caitlin Clark would be Da Vinci, netting an eye popping avg of 18.2 points per game this season and Aliyah Boston pulling down the boards to an impressive 8.2 rebounds per game.
Past matchups? More like reality TV marathons, with the kind of drama they got going there. Recent scores swinging like a playground seesaw with the Fever coming out tops in three of the last five encounters.
