Roll out the red carpet, we've got quite the showdown as the Chicago Sky try their luck against the Atlanta Dream. There's nothing dreamy about the Sky's recent performances, languishing at an eye-watering 11th in the WNBA. With only 2 wins in their last 8 games, the Sky wouldn't frighten a team of 9th grade beginners let alone the 3rd placed Dream.
Let's meet the contenders, shall we? For Chicago, Ariel Atkins's last month stats are something to boast about - 13.4 points per game and apparently she's not even the best player. Angel Reese, Courtney Vandersloot, Kamilla Cardoso, and Elizabeth Williams round up the show for the Sky. Impressive, in a kind of average middle school team sort of way.
On the other side of the court, Atlanta's headline acts are setting off fireworks.
