New York Liberty by 18I'm about as excited about this game as my cat is about the neighbor's dog, but we're doing this anyway. Let's take a look at the Chicago Sky and New York Liberty matchup. The Sky is not doing too hot this season with a 2-5 record, claiming sheer stubbornness as their pass into the #11 spot in the WNBA rankings. In stark contrast, we've got the Liberty, undefeated at 8-0, comfortably lounging at #2.
Starting with the Sky, the only thing soaring high in their team is Angel Reese. Her performance is as splendid as her name, averaging 9.1 points and 12.3 rebounds - Chicago's hope on a cloud. Not to forget Ariel Atkins flaming with consistent 13.7 points per game. Courtney Vandersloot doesn't fall too far behind either with her 10.6 points average per game.
On the other side of the court, New York Liberty practically beams with pride. With the likes of Breanna Stewart blazing the court, with her whopping 19.1 points per game, she might as well be the Statue of Liberty.
