St. Louis Battlehawks by 2I'm telling you, this one will be a nail-biter. We've got the D.C. Defenders hosting the St. Louis Battlehawks, and if past performances are anything to go by, we're in for a treat.
Let's dive into history a bit here, shall we? A glance at the previous matchups shows mixed results, our friends from D.C. enjoying a small edge overall. Last year, they gave the Battlehawks a taste of defeat right at home. But, let's not forget, it's not all sunshine and rainbows for the Defenders. The Battlehawks do have a dominant win from their 2024 visit, a match I'm sure Defenders fans would like to forget. It reminds one of the time I tried anchovies on pizza, not a pretty sight, I can tell you.
Looking at regular season records, Battlehawks are strutting around with their seven wins, probably making the Defenders itch with envy. Their 7-2 against Defenders' less impressive 6-3 says something, doesn't it? It's like the time my cousin boasted about beating me in chess, conveniently forgetting his five straight losses prior to that.
