Como by 1Lookin' at this Serie A matchup, we got a pretty interesting kettle of fish. Como is squaring off against Venezia and there’s much to discuss here.
In between the sticks, we got Jean Butez for Como and Ionuț Radu pulling up the rear guard for Venezia. These keepers have ratings of 6.75 and 7.00 respectively. Radu has proven to be quite the octopus with 13 saves while Butez is no slouch either, with 9.
Como's line up is impressive with Assane Diao and Nico Paz clearly running the show. Diao has racked up 3 goals from 5 shots on goal while Paz has been pretty sharp too with 1 goal. That's more than can be said for Venezia's top gun, Fali Candé, with a 7.28 rating but sadly, no goals to his name.
The past confrontation between these teams resulted in a draw, with Venezia and Como sharing four goals. That said, the recent performance would have you tilt the scales in Como's favor. Venezia’s been facing a bit of a dry spell, failing to score in their last four matches, while Como seems to be having a mixed bag of results, with wins and losses thrown in the mix.
If you're following the regular season records, then Como seems to have the edge with a 7-7-13 record as compared to Venezia's 3-9-15. Dare I say, Venezia seems to be as lost as a ball in high weeds.
One thing's for sure, this ain't no friendly game of chess folks. There will be takedowns and I'm predicting it won't be too pretty for Venezia.
