Alright, let's dig into this barnburner of a contest between Brighton & Hove Albion and Tottenham Hotspur. No risk of anyone falling asleep at the wheel in this one.
Our men between the sticks, Verbruggen for Brighton & Hove, really isn't anything to write home about with a rating of 7.07. Now, Tottenham's Kinský, he's turned a few heads with his 8.35 rating, but let's not forget Vicario, who's stumbling around with a tragically forgettable 5.93. Should be fun to watch, if you're into goalkeeping slapstick.
As for the big guns up front, Brighton & Hove Albion are tossing out Estupiñán, Wieffer and Mitoma. Now Estupiñán's got a decent pass accuracy but can't seem to hit the broad side of a barn. Mitoma on the other hand is about as sharp as a tack when he gets in front of goal, but not much for passing the rock round.
Spurs have got Pedro Porro, Tel, and the perennial bench warmer Danso. Porro reminds me of a golden retriever chasing a tennis ball, actually managing to complete most of his passes. Danso, well, let's say his rating makes for a pretty decent golf score.
Recent historical skirmishes between these two are pretty even stevens but the Seagulls managed to wrestle a couple victories from the Spur's lackluster grip. Overall season records? Brighton's been decent, while Spurs have been playing like it's Opposite Day pretty much every day.
While Brighton have been sticking it to the heavy hitters like Liverpool and Wolves, the Spurs have been slinking off the pitch against the likes of Aston Villa and Crystal Palace, not to mention their unsettling regular inability to net the spherical object.
Anywaaay, I'm certainly in the wrong line of work if I knew how any of this could give us an edge in Vegas.
