Raise the curtain for the Saitama Seibu Lions and the Yomiuri Giants. Saitama's been prancing their way around the league this season, boasting a respectable record of 36-30. Meanwhile, the Giants are playing seesaw, crawling their way into the middle with a 33-33 record. It’s like watching an accountant dance… A lot of numbers, but not much rhythm.
Now, if we journey back to yesteryears, we find a real toss-up. Our dear Giants got the better of Lions thrice, but the Lions did have a bite back with a win over Giants in the past. Bit of a roulette wheel, don't you think?
Add to this, the recent results that has the Lions looking beating BayStars and Dragons, while our mighty Giants can't seem to find their groove against the Erik Barnes. It's like watching a kitten try to open a can of tuna.
