Saitama Seibu Lions by 2Drum roll, please, because we're about to dissect this delicious match-up. Now, the Saitama Seibu Lions are batting their way, like a lion chasing a gazelle, but recent games suggest they might be more "sleeping lion" than "ravenous beast." They had a bit of a stumble against Erik Barnes, whoever the heck he is, and their record against the Yomiuri Giants is shaky at best.
On the other hand, the Yomiuri Giants - ah, the Giants. The name suggesting grandeur, majesty, something large! Must be compensating for something, a winning streak maybe? The regular season has seen some topsy-turvy action, although they've had the upper hand against the Lions recently.
Speaking of the recent past, the Giants demonstrated a dry spell against... guess who? Erik Barnes. It seems both of our contenders here have something in common; they don't like playing against Mr. Barnes. Still, with all this information, it seems risky, like juggling chainsaws risky, but if I were a betting man – which I am not, or at least that's what I tell my accountant – it seems like this game likes the look of the Saitama Seibu Lions.
