Oklahoma City Thunder by 9
Oh eye-rolls and sighs, we're looking at game 3 between Oklahoma City Thunder and Memphis Grizzlies. Thunder, tragically overconfident from their commanding lead in the series. Grizzlies, on the other hand, clinging onto that thread of hope with ferocity unseen.
Jalen Williams and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander are shaking the court for Thunder, their playoff averages echoing their incredible regular season performances. Just scoring 22.0 and 21.0 points per game like it's no big deal. Their graceful on-court ballet complemented marvelously by Chet Holmgren, who's not shying away from the rebound battle, pulling down 10.5 per game.
Now for the Grizzlies, the story isn't so gleaming. Ja Morant seems to have checked out of the playoffs for a vacation with just 20.0 points per game compared to his seasonal 23.1. However, let's not exclude Desmond Bane and Jaren Jackson Jr., providing decent assistance with their performances.
The head-to-head stats do no favors for our Grizzlies either with most recent defeats looking like a toddler trying to climb a tree. Those defeats managed to land Thunder the top spot in Western Conference. The Grizzlies, however, seem to be just making up the numbers at #8.
Our orbs of future-telling (we call them recent results) show OKC romping through their games like a kid in a candy store. The Grizzlies seem to be going the route of lost tourists.
Let's cut the chit-chat. Based on their star-studded performances and previous victories, I see no way for Thunder to lose the upcoming game to the Grizzlies.
