My Prediction
New York Yankees by 1
If this were a beauty pageant, I'd say the Yankees have more muscle and sparkle with their studs, Trent Grisham, Aaron Judge, and, of course, our charming Oswald Peraza. Mind you, the Tigers are not lying down in the mud either. Manuel Margot, Riley Greene, and 'not-so-modest' Spencer Torkelson have been swinging a mean bat.

Prepare for a pitcher's duel at the Comerica Park; it's not exactly a hitter's paradise. Rodon's performance this season has been slightly more eventful than my last stay at the DMV, and while his postseason stats remind me of that overcooked turkey last thanksgiving, let's focus on his decent regular-season stats of yesteryears. As they say, old is gold.

On the other hand, Casey Mize, the Tiger's roar on the mound, struts in with outstanding performance this season. I mean, the lad hasn’t been given so much as an ERA point yet—now if that doesn’t get you scratching your head, I don't know what will.

Looking back at previous encounters between these two, you'd notice it's almost like a game of ping pong - a win here, a loss there, nobody holding any clear bragging rights.

The recent performance charts for both teams present a delicious drama—the Yankees, while appearing victorious at times, are content to wander a bit too close to the edge of the precipice in my humble opinion. The Tigers, on the other hand, show some promise, though they clearly stumbled while waltzing with Seattle.

That said, as they say at my old stomping grounds: don't count your chickens before they hatch. So let me just stir my pot of unparalleled wisdom and contribute my two cents to this spectacle.
