Getting down to business, we've got the Washington Nationals going head-to-head with the Milwaukee Brewers at American Family Field. Fun fact: this park literally swings both ways - not very cruel for batters while not being a cake walk for pitchers either.

Lining up on the mound, we've got Jackson Rutledge and Freddy Peralta for the Nationals and Brewers respectively. Rutledge is showing up with a whopping 9.00 ERA from the season, while Peralta's been a performer with a good-to-go 4.04 ERA, also tossing up more strikeouts than the guy serves hot-dogs in the park.

Taking a peek at the crease, the Nationals boast the likes of CJ Abrams and Luis Garcia, not to mention Lane Thomas. These chaps have a knack for responsible batting, bolstered by a handful of home runs and some decent RBI counts. Bringing the Brewers' batting heat, we've got Christian Yelich, Jackson Chourio, and Willy Adames. Yelich tops the Brewers' stats, though you can't ignore that Adames has been knocking a fair share of runs, despite his lower batting average.

The past games have been a musical chairs of sorts - a Brewers' win followed by a Nationals' win and so forth. A bit chaotic if you ask me. And looking at their recent form, the Nationals seem to be a bit off key, dropping strings of games, whereas the Brewers have a bit of a mixed bag going on.

That being said, considering that generally, a bird in the hand is worth two in the bush, and in this case the Brewers have some pretty big birds in hand - in other words, they're the favorites and hence your bookie will give you less money if they win; while the Nationals, the underdogs, will get you more bang for your buck if they pull off a win here.

It's going to be quite the match, but if you ask me, I would say the Brewers are more likely to pop champagne at the end of the game, thanks to their superior starting pitcher and a better overall regular season performance.
