Here we go folks...it's a clash of the titans...well, more like David vs Goliath. I tell you what: don't invite either of these teams to a children's birthday party because it wouldn't be fair on the kids.
Paris Saint-Germain, what a lineup.. they've got Ousmane Dembélé - the fella can't seem to find the net but he's always near it with 4 shots on goal and Vitinha, oh boy, Vitinha! This lad's got a 95% accurate pass percentage. What's he doing, stitching the ball to his mates' boots? Throw in a Kang-in Lee, nobody told this guy you're supposed to aim at the goal, but his passing stats are through the roof, too.
Unfortunately for Montpellier, Benjamin Lecomte is going to be as busy as a one-armed bricklayer in Baghdad, the poor bloke. The guy's been racking up the saves, probably seeing more balls than a tennis umpire at Wimbledon.
Now, don't write off Montpellier, they do have wonder or two in their line up - one being Andy Delort, the man has got a shot like a thunderbolt and Lucas Mincarelli Davin, who can hit a coin from 20 yards.
Historically, the track record leans towards PSG being the bully typically snatching Montpellier's lunch money, with their dominant winning streak in past matchups. Now let's consider the season records: PSG has been tearing up the turf with 24 wins against Montpellier's rather paltry 4 (Better luck next time, boys).
Most recent results, in spite of one or two hiccups, have not really hurt PSG's stride whereas Montpellier seems to be going through a dry spell longer than the Sahara, not helping their case one bit I'd say.
Based on all that, and pulling no punches here, I reckon this one's gonna be a walk in the park for PSG.
