My Prediction
Strasbourg by 1Well, this should be an interesting match folks, an event that I’m sure will be filled with unexpected moments and enough riveting action to keep me awake. In one corner, we have Strasbourg, favored by some mystical force (or just a betting algorithm). Between the sticks, they've got Đorđe Petrović, whose made some impressive saves this season. Keep your eyes on Diego Moreira and Dilane Bakwa as they've been lighting it up with their stunning performances on field. With Santos playing facilitator, those lads could be setting fire to the net.
On the other side, we have Angers, underdogs of the league but certainly not ones to trifled with. They've got the young cat, Yahia Fofana under their posts, who's shown he's got some skills besides just catching fly balls. When it comes to the crème de la crème of their squad, Esteban Lepaul has got the eye of the tiger. The man got a couple of bullets in his gun from the last month alone, but question is, can he find the target?
Looking back, Strasbourg has held a slim edge in past face-offs and has a stronger hand when it comes to regular season record. Talk about adding another feather to their cap, they've been flexing their soccer muscles of late, putting Paris Saint-Germain to the sword and ensuring Saint-Étienne didn’t forget about them anytime soon.
Angers, on other hand, seems to have a slight problem in the 'won some' department. Their recent run has been a mixed bag and losing to Lille isn't exactly an awe-inspiring performance. But hey, they surprised Nantes, and who's to say lightning doesn't strike twice, or thrice?
Well, flipping a coin might be as good a method as any, but in my esteemed opinion, someone's going down and it's not Strasbourg. So here’s the prophecy folks,
