Club América by 3We've got quite a riveting face-off as Club América meets Mazatlán FC. Skip the popcorn, folks, cuz this contest might just be over before halftime.
Looking at the history between the two clubs - if Club América vs Mazatlán FC were a movie, it would be a "Feast of the Eagles". América's being almost offensive, winning 3 of the last 4. You gotta wonder if Mazatlán FC even knows where the goal is when they face Club América.
Now, MAZ have had a somewhat underwhelming season and recently have been teetering like a drunk on a tightrope - a win here, a draw there, few losses sprinkled in. If they were a racing horse, I wouldn't bet my leftover sandwich on them.
Now, let's pivot over to Club América. I mean their season record alone - 9 wins, 4 draws, just 2 losses - makes me feel like I'm reading a superhero's resume. They had a little hiccup against Cruz Azul and Pachuca, but I mean, everybody's allowed to have a bad hair day, right? No judgment here.
Given these compelling factors - and trust me, if this were a mystery novel, we just solved the case in the first chapter- I'm gonna say that América's gonna steamroller Mazatlán - yet again - like a donut under a monster truck.
