CD Guadalajara by 1A dazzling encounter it's shaping up to be between Atlas and CD Guadalajara. From the viewpoint of past encounters, the ledger somewhat tilts in favor of CD Guadalajara, albeit by a hair. Our good friends at Atlas seem to enjoy doing the unexpected - making a habit of bucking the trends - as they've ambushed their fancied rivals on a couple of recent instances.
However, both teams' recent forms make for a rather 'blah' reading. Like a microwave pizza, CD Guadalajara has been warm in spots and cold in others. Meanwhile, Atlas, trailing somewhat behind in the standings and performance, seem to display a knack for making things interesting, yet appear to be more generous to their opponents on the scoreboard than they'd like.
So doing the math, much like determining the number of licks it takes to get to the center of a tootsie pop, is an unreliable science here. But given their slight edge in the not-so-distant history, and the fact they're due for a cheeky win, I'm leaning towards CD Guadalajara.
