Cruz Azul by 1As you all adjust your monocles and stash your pretentious Pilsner, let's jump into this Liga MX titanic bout. Now, we've got Cruz Azul stirring the pot, and boy, don't they just love a spoon, favored as they are over the milk goats, fondly known as CD Guadalajara, or Chivas if you like the ring of it.
Now, the mossy rubble, Cruz Azul, had already branded their hoofprints on Chivas twice in the past. But remember, revenge is a dish best served on a football field, and CD Guadalajara did give them a spicy taste of defeat as well, twice to be precise. So, it shakes out as anyone's bout in the history books.
Now, let me give you the 25-word or less summary of the regular season. Cruz Azul's win tally is a bit plumper at 6 to Chivas’s 4; impressive! They both draw like professional artists though, with 4 each.
Yet recent form cannot be left in the attic. Cruz Azul's on a merry-go-round of wins and draws, and not losing a single game lately. Chivas, however, let's just say they've been all over the map, but not in a good way.
So, you ask, who's going to pocket this? Well, don't ask, I'll tell you. The odds favorite Cruz Azul, but with a faint pulse. These games tend to be tighter than your belt on Thanksgiving. Expect a stout fuss where the calculators will be busy.
