My Prediction
Tokyo Verdy by 1I know what you're thinking, you're looking at the Tokyo derby and can't make up your mind. Well, buckle up because here's my take.
In the goalkeepers' corner, Tokyo Verdy boasts Matheus Vidotto, whose rating may not be as fancy as Taishi Brandon Nozawa from FC Tokyo but hey, saves aren't everything, right?
Strolling onto the pitch we have the top lads from both teams. FC Tokyo's prodigies, Teruhito Nakagawa, Masato Morishige, and Kento Hashimoto appear to be fond of keeping the ball to themselves with zero goals between them. On the other hand, Tokyo Verdy's got Yuto Tsunashima and Hiroto Yamami puffing their chests out with three goals between them this season. A real goal fiesta, isn't it?
Let's take a trip down memory lane. The past matchups have been as thrilling as watching paint dry. Two draws in 2024, I mean, who could forget?
