Sanfrecce Hiroshima by 1The stage is set; Kyoto Sanga FC are facing off against Sanfrecce Hiroshima and let me tell you, it's likely to be more exciting than watching paint dry, just barely though.
Sanfrecce Hiroshima's goalkeeper Keisuke Osako has been steady in front of the goal with a 6.77 rating and 3 saves under his belt this season. For Kyoto Sanga FC, Gakuji Ota is doing alright, with a 7.20 rating and 14 saves. Both of them have about as much charisma as a damp radish, but they seem to be doing well enough.
On the players end, Sanfrecce has solid performers like Sho Sasaki, who currently flaunts a 7.47 rating with a rather impressive 88.6 accurate pass percentage. Another standout is Tsukasa Shiotani (7.23 rating), who's proven himself capable of scoring goals. Unfortunately, his personality sparkles about as much as a wet newspaper.
Over for Kyoto Sanga FC, Rafael Elias has an overall rating of 7.32, 1 goal and 2 shots on goal. The man might as well have been made of cardboard, but he's clearly doing something right. Taiki Hirato, despite his wooden disposition has been pretty determined with 4 shots on goal.
Now, as for their previous clashes...it's been a bit of a hot potato situation. Sanfrecce Hiroshima had a thrashing victory once with a solid 5 point difference, only to lose by a goal the next time they faced each other. It's been like watching two sloths race; unpredictable and yet, dreadfully unexciting.
These guys' regular season records...well, let's just say they're not exactly scorching. Sanfrecce Hiroshima is leading with a 3-2-0 record, and Kyoto Sanga FC is trailing with a 2-2-2.
So, let's summarize the recent events... Sanfrecce Hiroshima have drawn once, and won all their other outings, whereas Kyoto Sanga FC seems to have a slightly muddled run of a draw, a loss, and a win. Exciting as watching grass grow, but that's informative, I suppose.
All in all, it's going to be about as thrilling as a snail marathon but here goes nothing.
