Fagiano Okayama by 1Here's a treat for you folks, we've got a marquee match between Yokohama FC and Fagiano Okayama. The guardians between the sticks are Akinori Ichikawa for Yokohama and Svend Brodersen on the end of Fagiano. Now, folks, I don't have a crystal ball but with a 7.70 rating and 5 saves to his name, Brodersen holds a slight edge over Ichikawa 'Saveless' here.
Trust me when I say, Fagiano's trinity of terror, Daichi Tagami, Yugo Tatsuta, and Hijiri Kato, have been performing pretty top-notch this season. They channel their inner Ballet dancers when they have the ball with pass accuracies at 40.9%, 42.3%, and whooping 61.9% respectively. I'm not entirely convinced if they are playing football or Swan Lake!
On Yokohama's side, Akito Fukumori, Kosuke Yamazaki, and Boniface Nduka stand tall as their main guys. Now, between you and me, if they were to quit football, they could nail it as silver screen lovers, with pass accuracies at 82.3%, 92.3%, and 84.7% respectively. You can't help but fall in love with their game.
Weekly form guide says Fagiano has 1 win out of their lone match whereas Yokohama faced a solitary defeat. Eyebrows raised? Yeah, mine too!
Take a quick glimpse at the recent results and folks, you'll notice a pattern. Or not! The only pattern that's crystal clear to me is that Okayama pummeled Kyoto Sanga FC 2-0 last Saturday whereas Yokohama... well, better luck next time I guess?
