USA by 8Alrighty then. Put on your seatbelts, folks, 'cause this FIBA Women's AmeriCup finale is bound to be a slam-bang affair between the USA and Brazil. Both teams are gunning for the hoops like there's no tomorrow with an impressive 4-0 run in the playoffs.
Let's dance with the stats first. The good ol' red, white and blue, the USA, has Hannah Hidalgo bringing her A-game, or should we say, her H-game, 'cause she's on H-fire, dropping 18 points per playoff game. Don't forget Madison Booker, either, with her cold, hard 12.5 points per game, she's got the competition posing as a 'Booker prize'... Oh I'm clever, I impress myself sometimes.
For Brazil, Damiris Dantas is doing the samba around her opponents, boasting a formidable 20 points per game in the playoffs. Kamilla Cardoso is another force to be reckoned with, ‘cause she's rebounding like a rogue tennis ball on a trampoline, grabbing 12 rebounds per playoff game while dropping 19 points too!
Looking at the records, both teams stand tall with a 4-0 win streak. Whatever else you say, that's good ball. Check out the recent results: USA chewing up competition like it's breakfast, winning games with scores as high as 110. Brazil, however, isn't far behind with a whopping 108 point game against Argentina.
