Ah, the claws are out for a classic Ontario feud as the Hamilton Tiger-Cats head over to the Toronto Argonauts' shipyard. Clearly someone sent me these stats as a bedtime story - because the yawn is imminent.
Over recent meetings, the Tiger-Cats seemingly enjoy a slight role reversal, behaving more like predators feasting on the Argonauts. The Tabbies have won 3 of their last 5 encounters with the Boatmen but I do nod to that one surprising Argonauts' win with a 29 point haul in 2023.
Some might argue that Hamilton's win-loss record so far screams mediocre, but if we fixate on their recent performance, they've just clawed their way to a victory against the Alouettes. Toronto, on the other hand, despite being positioned below Hamilton in the East Division, managed to dominate the Ottawa Redblacks. Heck, they might even get used to this winning thing.
Then again, it's always nice to dream isn't it, Toronto?
Hamilton tends to show up with their A-game against the Argos, and given the present scenario, I don't see why anything should change this time 'round. However, for visual aids purposes, imagine this one being as close as hugging a cactus too tightly.
