Looking forward to a classic clash of the titans, are we? Today we see raw talent square off against solid determination as Jiri Lehecka faces off against Jack Draper.
The past clashes of these titans tip the scales in Draper's favor, as Jack Draper leads the score with a 2-1 advantage. And going by the recent evidence, it seems that Draper no longer entertains house guests with afternoon tea. Losing only once amidst four glorious victories, Jack's got an act that's tough to follow.
Now, when we turn our golf-cart toward Lehecka's recent run, we see a triumph over Fearnley and Diallo at love from our unseeded hero. And yet, his Jun 13 tryst with Shelton was a sad retreat that leaves our underdog with a few tails between his legs. But, we'll let bygones be bygones and focus on his victories over de Minaur and Struff.
Factoring in their tournament seeds – with Draper lounging around comfortably at the number 2 spot, and Lehecka is still on the hunt for an invite to the seeds' club - one could argue that Jack's enjoying the better view from his high perch.
So unless Lehecka's planning on locating a hidden rabbit in his hat – a possibility I wouldn't want to rule out completely – I have to say it seems the tennis stars are aligning beautifully for our man Jack.
Albert’s Prediction: Draper in straight sets.
