Djokovic in straight sets.
Having a gander at the Corentin Moutet vs Novak Djokovic scenario, we are in for a bit of a clumsy ballet, aren't we? Djokovic, our beloved number 6 seed, has been slicing through opponents with the precision of a top-notch butcher. On the flip side, we have Moutet, unseeded but also undeterred, in clear defiance of his betting odds.
The history? Well, it reads like a poorly written romance novel. Djokovic, true to form, has won both previous encounters. Quite the exclusive tea party, don't you think? Their most recent performance on the court saw Djokovic dominating Moutet like he had an extra set of hands.
More recently, Djokovic seems to be flowing through his games smoother than butter on a hot skillet, maintaining a dry-clean only record, free of losses. I mean, look at him! McDonald, Hurkacz, Norrie: they all faced the Djokovic Juggernaut, all served up with a side of love. On the other hand, Moutet, well, he's been playing like a distracted grocery store cashier: generally efficient but prone to occasional errors, succumbing once to Draper.
So, if I were a gambler - which I'm not, my ex-wife took care of that - I'd be throwing down the safe bet. Unless Moutet has a secret superhero alter ego, he's facing an uphill task.
Albert’s Prediction: Djokovic in straight sets.
