Djokovic in 3 sets.Now, if I were a betting man, and all I cared about was the color of my wallet, I'd put a tie on and head to the bank with Novak Djokovic. The not-so modest payout odds are leaning heavily in his favor, whispering in the ear of every bettor who possesses a basic understanding of risk versus reward. And let's face it, his recent form is like a well-tailored suit - fits perfectly. All he's been doing is sealing deals, cleaning opponents in straight sets so effortlessly, you’d think he’s the janitor of the court.
On the contrary, Cameron Norrie is the young rebel, unseeded but showing he's not just a passenger on this Grand Slam journey. He's thrown in some convincing performances, boasting a couple of straight-set victories himself. However, the last time they locked horns, which was quite recent I must say, Djokovic demonstrated that he had a bit more grit in his arsenal.
Look, the heart loves an underdog story, but math and logic, well they're big fans of reality. So while I’m tempted to root for Norrie, given he’s taken a set off Djokovic in the past, the hard facts dictate that Djokovic has the upper hand.
