Ah, the thrill of the AFL, a ballet of grown men chasing an odd-shaped ball. This time, we have the West Coast Eagles taking on the St Kilda Saints. Now, in terms of the odds, the Saints could be seen as favorites. After all, they've shown they can fly higher than the Eagles during their past few encounters.
In terms of the season records, however, it's like comparing a fine wine with tap water. St Kilda with their somewhat mediocre 4-5, against the West Coast's so-far winless season that's frankly sadder than a clown at a funeral.
We're sitting at Round 10, and you can imagine the Eagles thinking they've been playing in a never-ending round... of nightmares. But let's not be too harsh. After all, they've shown spirit, giving Richmond a run for their money recently, falling short by just two points. Meanwhile, the Saints have had their up and down moments - they managed to trample Fremantle, albeit interspersed with losses that make you wince.
When it comes to standings, well, it's the 12th against the 18th. I guess the real competition here is who can tumble down the ladders fastest!
So, giving it all some thought, I reckon the Saints might take this one, although not by a particularly wide margin. They aren't exactly world-beaters, but then again, they don't really need to be, do they?
Albert's Prediction: St Kilda Saints by 10
