Queensland Reds with a solid 6-3 versus Fijian Drua's disappointing 2-8 shows a clear advantage for the team from Down Under.
Our Fijian friends had a rendezvous with victory last time these teams squared off, coming away with a 28-19 W back in the May of 2024. However, If history is a great teacher, the Drua should probably retake the class as their recent form has been as unpredictable as a chameleon in a bag of skittles. Two major defeats against Moana Pasifika and the Highlanders, including a nail-biter against NSW Waratahs, doesn't really inspire confidence now, does it?

Appeals of an underdog upset notwithstanding, I'd still go with the team that has shown more consistency and winning appetite.
