My Prediction
Juventus by 1Let's break down this impending clash between Bologna and Juventus. Now Bologna’s goalkeeper, Łukasz Skorupski has been slightly sharper than that of Juventus', Michele Di Gregorio. Not by a whole lot, though. Like two kids arguing who has the better marble collection, it's marginally close.
Now, who's going to be churning the cogs for each team? Juventus has Manuel Locatelli and Renato Veiga, who've been threading passes better than my grandma threads a needle. Goals may be thin on the ground but they've been running the show in midfield. For Bologna, we've Juan Miranda and Dan Ndoye who have been pulling the strings at their whim.
Looking back at the chronicles of glory, past match-ups between these two have resembled stale kisses from an aunt at a family reunion, ending in draws more often than not. Their regular season records are as identical as a pair of twins from a sitcom.
However, when it comes to recent squad-on-squad action, I gotta hand it to Juventus who've shown more teeth than a shark in a feeding frenzy. Bologna, on the other hand, have mixed results that resemble my teenage attempt at baking - inconsistent and more fails than wins.
So, expect an enticing clash, filled with more tension than my lawn-chair during quarantine. But, when all is said and done, recent performance and that little bit of extra grit might prove decisive.
