Cagliari by 1Let's talk about our matchup today: Cagliari and Udinese. In recent times, it seems to me that Udinese has the upper hand, carrying home a 2-0 victory in their latest encounter. Now, history alone might not be able to tell the complete tale but it certainly gives a good preface.
Taking a look at the goalkeepers, we've got Maduka Okoye, who's been doing an alright job in the Udinese goal, pulling off 12 saves with a rating of 6.84. On the flip side, Cagliari is counting on Elia Caprile. Beautiful name, isn't it? He ain't too shabby between the pipes either, with a 7.18 rating and 9 saves. He's saved fewer, but he's higher rated – go figure.
Top players, you ask? Udinese puts forth a strong front with the likes of Oumar Solet and Christian Kabasele leading the field work with their commendable 7+ ratings. Jaka Bijol doesn't lag too far behind either, holding fort.
Meanwhile, in Cagliari's corner, there's Yerry Mina. The man no one wants coming for them on a corner kick. A rock in defense and the name that strikes fear into the hearts of attackers everywhere. Not to forget Roberto Piccoli, the guy has found the back of the net twice in recent games. Roberto my friend, keep those goals coming, will you?
With regards to each team's record, we've got Udinese leading the pack with 11 wins as opposed to Cagliari's 8. Perhaps not as wide a gap as your ex's heart, but it's still worth a mention.
Finally, looking at the recent streak, while Cagliari seems to have found success in Verona recently, Udinese seems to be on a bit of a dry spell, failing to score against Bologna.
