My Prediction
Tony Finau by 2 strokesLudvig Åberg's sitting pretty at third place with a total score of -6. This guy got cut off at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am, but looks like he found his swing again. Not bad for a 6th ranked tour player.
Bit of a different story for World No. 1, Scottie Scheffler. Where's the fire, Scottie? Sitting in 8th place with a total score of -3. After landing 25th in Phoenix, might be smart to stop betting on this guy.
According to my top secret formula (read: common sense), keep your eye on Tommy Fleetwood and Patrick Cantlay. Both players are 4 under par and in 4th place. Fleetwood had a modest 22nd place finish in Pebble Beach while Cantlay just made it to the top 33. They’re not the best, but are far from the worst.
Champ from the last year's Genesis Invitational, Hideki Matsuyama, currently desperately trying to claw back from 13th place. More power to you, Matsuyama.
Tony Finau tops the last round's scorecard with -5. At fourth place overall and a recent 13th place finish in Pebble Beach, Finau might just have the goods to win.
Hate to break your bubble, but this ain't no fairy tale. The once upon a time there Akshay Bhatia and Harris English, once top tier players, have now decided to twirl majestically at 16th position, only a stroke under par.
Add a little sprinkle of magic to this prediction and the trophy could go to...
