Angel City FC by 1When we look at the goalkeeper’s battle between Angel City FC's Angelina Anderson and Chicago Red Stars' Alyssa Naeher, it’s almost as exciting as watching paint dry. Both are almost neck-and-neck in their stats, but Anderson managed to rack up just one more save. Now, doesn't that give you a thrill? Absolutely, it's safe to say they're definitely sticking to what they know best.
Let's talk a little about the key players. For Chicago Red Stars, Sam Staab appears to have woken up on the right side of the bed this season with a rating of 7.23 and a goal to her name, giving Julia Grosso who also managed to sneak in a goal, a run for her money. Shea Groom, meanwhile, seems to have missed a step or two compared to last season, perhaps a little too caught up reminiscing about the glory days.

When looking back at past match-ups, it's like a tango, back and forth with Angel City FC having the slight edge overall. Looking at Chicago Red Stars' recent crumbling, it's hard to imagine they were once the champions of Hide and Seek. On the other hand, Angel City FC has had their fair share of heartache but still managed to squeeze in a win or two amidst the losses.
Taking everything into account, really savoring the data, chewing it over, I foresee a victory for Angel City FC. Expect a close one though, because who doesn't love a game that keeps you biting your nails till the end?
