My Prediction
Sydney Roosters by 14Well, isn't this a spicy meatball. Sydney Roosters vs Wests Tigers, an encounter that resounds a lopsided affair in favor of pretty peacocks of Sydney, but you never know when those scrapping Tigers have a trick up their sleeve. Tigers, they do have sleeves, right?
Now, their previous get-togethers comprising tea and biscuits, looked more like an all-you-can-eat buffet for the Roosters, with scores like sunsets; gorgeous if you're a Rooster fan, bit of a stinger if you're rooting for the Tigers. Sydney did beat Wests with a whopper of difference last couple of times; 40-6 and 32-8. I mean, licking the plate clean, literally!
In terms of their season performance, the Roosters seem to be slightly more on their A game with a 7-7 divide sitting pretty at #6, while Tigers, well, they're going for a humble win-loss ratio of 5-10, perched at #14.
The recent outcomes have been grimmer for the Tigers as well, losing their last five hops and skips, while the Roosters, after taking a few punches have dusted themselves off real nice with thrilling wins, weighing heavy on the Cowboys, sharpening their talons against the Knights.
We're in round 18 here, folks, so the competition's at a breath-holding, knuckles-white, who-dropped-my-pork-in-the-barbie-type intensity. So, if you're a betting birdie, keep all this in mind.
Echoing the immortal Spice Girls, I'll tell you what I want, what I really, really want. Well, this one looks pretty cut and dry. The Roosters should rule the roost here, but don't expect the Tigers to roll over without a hiss and a claw. But hey, life would be too easy if we could predict everything accurately, wouldn't it?
