Hanshin Tigers by 2Ladies and gentlemen, let’s talk about Hanshin Tigers and Tokyo Yakult Swallows, a clash that could be mistaken for a cat vs bird cartoon skit, not a baseball game. Now, rest assured, no actual tigers or swallows will be harmed during this matchup… we hope.
Now, if we are to peek into the past like historians with binoculars, we'd see the Hanshin Tigers and Tokyo Yakult Swallows have played a bit of seesaw. But, you bet those Tigers did roar a bit louder, or should I say meow, with 3 victories compared to the Swallows more modest squeak of 2 victories.
Looking at the regular season, if the Hanshin Tigers were chefs, they'd be serving up a pretty decent win soufflé, clocking in with a record of 38-30. On the flip side, the Swallows, looking a bit malnourished at 19-43, seem to have misplaced their recipe book.
