Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets by 3
I guess I'll be talking about the clash between the Florida State Seminoles and Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets (#20) then.
If we're talking about key players for Florida State Seminoles, it'd be hard to ignore standout performances this season from Makayla Timpson, dropping in an average 17.3 points and grabbing a noteworthy 10.3 rebounds per game. Oh, and then you've got Ta'Niya Latson, clocking in at 26.2 points, 4.5 rebounds and 4.6 assists per game. Impressive for a player who takes 'shoot the ball' as a lifestyle choice.
On the other end of the court, Georgia Tech's got a few headliners of their own. Kara Dunn, for instance, has been putting up a strong fight with 15.8 points and 6.0 rebounds per game this season. And then there's Tonie Morgan, who has been dishing out 5.5 assists on top of scoring 13.1 points per game.
From a historical point of view, let's also remember that the Seminoles have historically held the upper hand over the Yellow Jackets. They've been sting-proof, if you will.
However, Georgia Tech has made some waves this season, pulling in an AP Ranking of 20th in ACC, which is not so shabby given they're compared to the Seminoles' big ol' goose egg.
Both teams are journeying neck and neck in their regular season with a 21-6 record. The recent performance of Seminoles has dipped a bit with 2 losses, while Yellow Jackets showed great determination coming back to the game in their matches.
With all that being said and done, do remember life's as unpredictable as a game of college basketball. So, my final words, with no promises of accuracy, are:
