Iowa State Cyclones by 2Well, listen up, sports enthusiasts, because we've got one heck of a showdown on our hands and I wouldn't want you to miss even a sprinkling of it. We're takin' a spin into the wild, Wildcats territory if you will, with the stupendous Iowa State Cyclones (#3) rolling in to stir things up a bit against the Arizona Wildcats.
Iowa State, with a smooth record of 17 wins and just 2 losses this season, look as invincible as a porcupine in a balloon store. They've got Curtis Jones racking up the digits with an impressive 22.3 points per game just in the last month and Joshua Jefferson pulling down those rebounds like it's his personal gravity field. Add the meaty mix of Gilbert and Lipsey, and you got a team you wouldn't want to go toe-to-toe with unless you're ready to take a few punches, figuratively speaking of course.
Now let's saunter over to the other side where the Wildcats hold their fort. Seems like a lot of students skipped their cat-nap this season because these boys have put up a respectable fight with 13 wins. Their pride and joy Caleb Love has been making momma proud with an average of 15.5 points per game in the recent month and Jaden Bradley trails close behind offering both points and assists.
Even though the Wildcats are at home, they are going uphill against a top-ranked team which frankly, is as big of a challenge as trying to teach a group of squirrels synchronized swimming. The Cyclones come riding in on their recent success with a stronger game strategy and the stats to back it up. The Wildcats on the other hand are the underdogs or should I, dare to say, undercats in this game.
