Michigan State Spartans by 4Looks like the basketball gods have decided to add some extra heat on court by pitting #19 Illinois against #12 Michigan State. And I must tell you, my dear friend, it's going to be an absolute spectacle.
Focusing on the men holding the fort for the Illinois, Kasparas Jakucionis has been putting on quite a show with 18 points per game last month. Kylan Boswell, not too far behind, is also making his mark with 14.3 points and a commendable 6.3 rebounds per game last month. But we can't overlook the relentless Tre White who has been a consistent performer with 13.6 points per game.
On the Michigan State Spartans side, they're heavily depending on Jaden Akins and his 15.8 points per game score from last month. Jeremy Fears is also doing his part which is commendable considering he's been churning out 9 points per game with an impressive 7.7 assists, proving instrumental for the Spartans.
Now, let's look back in time a little. Remember when the Illini beat Spartans back in 2023? Yes, they did lose in 2024, but there has been a stronger showing from the Illinois side.
