Xavier Musketeers by 25Alright, let's crack into this one, shall we? We have South Carolina State Bulldogs trotting their way into the court of Xavier Musketeers. The Bulldogs are coming in with a balanced 4-4 record, while the Musketeers are holding steady at 6 wins and a single loss.
Swinging our attention to the players, Drayton Jones is leading the Bulldogs pack this season with an average of 12.5 points per game. He's not exactly a one-man show though with Omar Croskey Nailing 8.7 points on an average, and Wilson Dubinsky pitching in with 7.2.
However, over at the Musketeers' camp, we have Zach Freemantle and Ryan Conwell hot on the streak, scoring an average of 15.4 and 17.6 points per game respectively. It's like they're serving up a hot plate of domination with a side of victory. A mention also goes out to Dayvion McKnight, who isn’t scoring as high, but the 4.4 assists per game clearly show his contribution in orchestrating the play.
Now, if we look at the recent matches for both these teams, Bulldogs had a bit of a rough patch losing to Marshall Thundering Herd and Jacksonville Dolphins, while Xavier, apart from the slip against the Wolverines, has been wrecking havoc and pretty much crushed all the teams before them.
Add to all this, the Musketeers come in with a #22 AP ranking compared to the Bulldogs' puzzling absence from the charts. Don't get me wrong here, numbers aren't skill, but they sure do say a lot about past performances, don't they?
