Tidjiane Dioumassi has been filling the hoop reliably with an average of 17.3 points per game, and if rebounds were souvenirs, Damariee Jones's 6.7 per game would make him quite the collector. True, they've faired about as well as an ice cube in a desert with those recent results. A triumph over the Ecclesia Royals was a bright spot, but losses to Lions and Hawkeyes? Not exactly a recipe for confetti and parades.
As they roll out the welcome mat for the Jaguars, the Texas A&M Aggies aren't just prepping tea and cookies. Already chewing on that 23rd ranking, they've got Zhuric Phelps who's been lighting up the scoreboard with 16 points per game, and if Wade Taylor's 4.5 assists per game were a spicy meatball dish, you'd say it's served piping and consistently hot. Classics tell us Aggies and wildcats don't mix, but they managed a victory over the Buckeyes that will have boosted their morale. A dance with the Gators ended in a stumble, but, hey, who doesn't trip over their shoelaces now and again?
