Los Angeles Lakers by 6Don't you just love the smell of NBA playoffs in the morning? In this corner we've got the Los Angeles Lakers, fresh off their latest victory. Luka Dončić has been setting the court ablaze, averaging 28.3 points per game, alongside Austin Reaves, bless his cotton socks, with his 17.3 points per game. To round off the Lakers' trifecta, we have LeBron James, still going strong with an average of 26 points per game.
Now, onto the Minnesota Timberwolves. These guys have Anthony Edwards thundering across the court, averaging 25.3 points per game. Although Julius Randle and Jaden McDaniels have been doing their bit, it's good ol' Edwards who's been holding the fort here.
A quick glance at their recent head-to-head has shown us that the Timberwolves have the upper claw...err hand, leading 2-1 in the playoffs series! But, let us not forget, the Lakers have truly shown their resilience through the regular season with a better win-loss record than the Timberwolves.
If we're looking at recent results, the Timberwolves had better watch out, despite their higher standing. With the Lakers' much-vaunted trio of Dončić, Reaves, and James, we could truly see a titanic tussle.
